Cut Manual Processing Time by 60 – 80% in Insurance and Healthcare Operations*
is an AI automation studio that finds the workflows bleeding your team's time, builds AI systems to automate them, and runs them with human oversight so your operations can scale without adding headcount.
* Range based on published results from Allianz, athenahealth, Iodine Software, and McKinsey (2024–2026). Your results will depend on workflow complexity and existing infrastructure.
Your operations team is spending hours on work that should take minutes
Every carrier, TPA, and healthcare operator knows the pattern. Documents arrive in five different formats. Someone manually keys data from a PDF into a portal. A human reviews every submission because the system can't tell a clean file from a messy one. Renewal season means overtime. Onboarding a new client means weeks of configuration someone could be doing in their sleep.
These aren't technology problems, they're workflow problems. And they compound. Every hour your operations team spends on data entry, document triage, or manual QA is an hour they're not spending on underwriting judgment, member experience, or revenue-generating work.
We automate the tedious parts so your people can do the work that actually requires them
Our engineers have shipped production systems at the Federal Reserve, Microsoft (HoloLens, Minecraft), IBM Watson Health, KeyBank, and 2U: processing millions of records, serving millions of users, and operating under strict compliance requirements. We've done this work. We know what breaks in production.

Insurance Carriers & MGAs
Submission intake, policy document processing, renewal analysis, claims triage. We build AI workflows that handle the repetitive steps and route exceptions to your underwriting and ops teams with audit trails your compliance team will trust.
Healthcare Operations
SPD processing, provider credentialing, benefits verification, clinical document routing. Our systems are built for PHI workloads with zero-data-retention architecture and HIPAA-trained engineers.
We also work with companies in manufacturing, legal, and financial services: anywhere workflows involve high-volume document processing, complex decision routing, or compliance requirements.
Let's talkHow We Work
Discover. Build. Run.
Discover
Find the right problem first.
We map your operations end-to-end: every step, handoff, and decision point. We time them. We calculate what each bottleneck costs you in labor, errors, and missed opportunity. The output is a ranked list of automation targets with expected ROI and a scoped build plan, not a deck full of aspirational roadmaps.
Build
Fixed-price engagements, scoped to your operations.
Every engagement is fixed-price with defined deliverables. No surprise invoices. No scope creep on our side. If we need more budget to finish, that's our problem, not yours.
We build systems where each AI component has one job, known inputs, known outputs, and isolated failure modes. If one breaks, it breaks alone, the rest keep running. Unlike general-purpose AI tools, every system is scoped to your exact workflow with human oversight at every decision point.
Run
Your automation gets better over time.
We monitor performance, handle edge cases, and expand to adjacent workflows as you see ROI. When the system encounters something new, it flags it. You decide whether to automate it or keep the human in the loop.
You own everything we build. No vendor lock-in. If you want to bring it in-house, we hand over codebase, documentation, and training.
Engagements come in three shapes:
Workflow Build
One automated workflow, end-to-end. Right-sized for small teams tackling their first real automation. Ideal for document processing, intake triage, or repetitive data entry.
Focused Pilot
Production-ready AI workflow with multi-system integration. One high-ROI process, fully integrated into your existing stack with human-in-the-loop review and audit logging.
Platform Build
Multiple coordinated workflows across related processes. Full integration with your EHR, claims platform, CRM, or document systems. Operator dashboards, audit logging, and compliance architecture.
Proof
We can't name our biggest clients yet. Here's what you can verify about us right now
Most of our active engagements are under NDA, including a healthcare document processing platform we'll be able to publish later this year. Instead of hedged case studies, here are four things you can check directly before booking a call.
Try the work, not the marketing
We built chat.endstation.ai: an LLM workbench that lets you compare models side-by-side, write system prompts, toggle tools, and see exactly what the model receives. It's the same tool we use to train client teams. Spend five minutes with it. You'll know more about our engineering sensibility than any case study could tell you.

We believe reliability beats intelligence in production AI systems. Our framework — the Ultimate Macro Machine, or UMM — prioritizes deterministic code with AI at decision points, not autonomous agents that loop until something breaks. We've published our thinking on this extensively.
- Read the UMM framework
- Our AI maturity model, Levels 0–4
- Why we don't build autonomous agents for production
If our published thinking doesn't match how you want your AI systems built, we're not the right fit and you'll know that before you book a call.
Check our domain credentials
The people doing the work have built production systems at institutions where accuracy, compliance, and scale aren't negotiable:
- Engineering leadership from the Federal Reserve, Microsoft, IBM Watson Health, 2U, and KeyBank — plus Department of Defense contract work
- Healthcare ontology experience with SNOMED, RxNorm, and ICD — the vocabularies that matter for PHI workflows
- HIPAA-trained engineering team with zero-data-retention architecture experience on Azure and AWS
- Shipped at consumer scale — production systems serving millions of users at Microsoft (HoloLens, Minecraft), Rec Room, and 2U
- $64M+ in non-dilutive funding secured for clients across $200M+ in commercialization projects
- Cleveland, OH & Detroit, MI — your engineering team is down the road, not in another time zone
Recent work
We've shipped engagements across multiple domains. Most are under NDA; here's what we can describe:
- Healthcare document processing platform — Multi-workflow AI automation integrating with SharePoint and Salesforce for PHI-compliant plan document understanding. Active engagement, case study pending client approval.
- Community engagement platforms for real estate developers — Multi-tenant web application serving municipalities in Ohio and Illinois. Production system with active users.
- B2B contractor data infrastructure — Custom data extraction and enrichment pipeline for a contractor intelligence product.
- Autonomous agent optimization — Deployment and performance tuning for a consulting firm's agent framework.
FAQ
Questions we hear in every first call.
How much does this cost?
Discovery engagements start at $7,500. Build engagements are scoped from Discovery output and start at $25,000. Run retainers start at $3,000/month and scale with scope.
Do we need to replace our existing systems?
No. We integrate with what you already use: SharePoint, your CRM, your EHR, your claims system. We automate the work between your systems, not the systems themselves.
What if it doesn't work?
Discovery is designed to answer that question before we build anything. If automation doesn't make sense for a workflow, we'll tell you. We've turned down engagements that weren't a fit.
Who owns the code?
You do. Everything we build is yours: codebase, documentation, and training to bring it in-house whenever you're ready.
Is this HIPAA compliant?
Our engineering team is HIPAA-trained and we architect for PHI workloads from day one. Zero-data-retention, encrypted at rest and in transit, audit-logged.
Can this work for industries outside insurance and healthcare?
Yes. Our framework applies to any workflow with high-volume document processing, complex decision routing, or compliance requirements.
How long does AI automation take to show ROI?
Most clients see measurable time savings within the first month of a Build deployment. Discovery itself often reveals quick wins: manual steps that can be eliminated immediately with simple tooling before the full system is built.
Do you offer AI training for our team?
Yes. We run hands-on workshops on applied generative AI: prompt engineering, AI agents, security, and workflow design. Minimum 5 participants. Every participant gets access to our AI Workbench, an LLM exploration environment where you can compare models, write system prompts, and see what the model actually sees. Learn more
Start with a conversation.
30 minutes. We'll ask about your workflows and pain points. No preparation needed. If AI automation makes sense, we'll outline exactly what the first engagement looks like. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.
